Brooklyn Beckham spoke out against his parents, Victoria and David Beckham:
‘I stayed silent for years and tried to keep our family conflicts private, but my parents and their team continued to go to the press, leaving me with only one choice: to speak for myself.
I do not want to reconcile with my family and I am not under anyone’s control. For the first time in my life, I am standing up for myself.

Throughout my life, my parents have shaped a media-friendly image of our family that suited them, resorting to showmanship and distortions of the truth to preserve their façade.
Even before the wedding, my parents tried to destroy my relationship and continued to do so afterward. My wife was subjected to constant disrespect, pressure, and humiliation, including during the wedding preparations and on the wedding day itself.

I was pressured to give up my last name, attacked through the press and social media, and my personal boundaries were systematically ignored for the sake of a public image and the Beckham brand.
Claims that my wife controls me are not true. For most of my life, I was under my parents’ control and lived with constant anxiety. Only after distancing myself from my family did I feel peace for the first time.

My wife and I do not want a life built on manipulation, media exposure, and a performative image. We want quiet, privacy, and happiness for ourselves and our future family.’
