A U.S. woman named Brendan has shared an unusual personal experience: she and two other women have signed a formal agreement to share one man. Their relationship operates under strict rules, all of which each woman is required to follow.
Brendan and her husband, Scott, were married for ten years before deciding to open their relationship. Seven years ago, Samantha joined them, and later Adrienne became their third partner.
In an interview with the show Love Don’t Judge, the women revealed that their relationship is built around Scott’s complete control. According to Scott, all three women signed a contract that governs nearly every aspect of their daily lives, including wake-up times, diet, appearance, makeup, and even fitness goals.
‘I monitor my three partners 24/7,’ Scott said. ‘Their clothing must be approved by me, I track their locations, and I have access to their messages.’
Brendan explained that the concept was discussed early in their marriage. Samantha added that, for her, the contract symbolizes the ‘permanence’ of their relationship. Adrienne admitted she was initially hesitant, but after carefully reviewing the document, she decided to sign it.
‘We’ve built a strong sisterhood,’ Adrienne said. ‘There’s no romance between us, and none of us are seeking it.’ She also insisted that she does not feel her independence is threatened. ‘I’m not afraid of losing it. It’s not important to me.’
The women acknowledged facing criticism from people around them. ‘When I told my friends about our relationship, they criticized me and refused to accept this part of my life,’ Samantha said.
