U.S. President Donald Trump couldn’t resist a joke when commenting on Nicki Minaj’s appearance at the Trump Accounts Summit, held Wednesday, January 28, in Washington, D.C.
Taking the stage, the 79-year-old politician playfully told the audience he was considering growing out his nails inspired by the rapper he called his ‘biggest fan.’
‘I said I might grow my nails because I really like them,’ Trump quipped, inviting the 43-year-old Minaj onstage to laughter and applause.

Nicki Minaj arrived in a look that was restrained yet impossible to ignore. She wore a pale yellow Alaïa high-heeled dress, layered with a dramatic white fur cape featuring a leather collar and belt.
White suede heels and gold jewelry completed the ensemble. Her hair was sleek and straight with a deep side part a sharp contrast to her once more provocative style.

Still, the true show-stealers were her nails. Minaj’s long, chrome-finished manicure with a pearlescent glow instantly caught the attention of the crowd — and Trump himself. Those very nails became the centerpiece of the president’s onstage joke.

During his remarks, Trump also praised Minaj, saying she had ‘been with us from the very beginning’ and openly supports the MAGA movement. In response, the artist thanked the president for launching Trump Accounts investment accounts designed for children born in the United States.

According to CNBC, Nicki Minaj plans to invest between $150,000 and $300,000 in the initiative. From the stage, she declared herself Trump’s ‘number one fan’ and made it clear she has no intention of backing down, despite widespread criticism.
