At 95 years old, Rosalie Julian has unexpectedly become a social media sensation, capturing hearts across the internet with her charming personality and heartwarming bond with her “granddogs,” two golden retrievers named Risky and Peach.

The popular TikTok account @riskyandthegiantpeach, managed by her daughter Susan Cinnella, features touching and often funny moments between Rosalie and the dogs. In a short time, the account has gained over 70,000 followers, with viewers drawn to the grandmother’s natural warmth and joyful spirit.
“I’m a little surprised when people call me an influencer. I’m just a person,” Rosalie says modestly, admitting that the sudden attention caught her off guard.

According to Susan, one of the first viral videos showed Rosalie speaking to the dogs in a soft, melodic tone. That simple moment quickly resonated with viewers.
“People fell in love with my mom,” Susan explains. “She’s funny, she has a Boston accent, and she can hardly do anything wrong.”
Rosalie is a mother of four adult children and a proud grandmother of two grandchildren, along with what she jokingly calls her two “dog grandchildren.” She has spent her entire life in Massachusetts, growing up in a home filled with animals, which helped shape her lifelong love for dogs.

Even at 95, Rosalie continues to live independently. She still drives, takes care of herself, and enjoys spending time with Risky and Peach.
Many followers say her videos brighten their day. Comments like, “This grandma makes me smile even on my darkest days,” highlight the emotional connection people feel.
Rosalie remains humble about her growing popularity.
“I find it a bit uncomfortable because I’m just a person,” she says. “But I take it as a compliment. I feel very lucky.”
