Legendary 79-year-old singer Cher may soon have her own series on Netflix. According to The Sun, the project is expected to consist of seven episodes and has the working title ‘Sharing Her Story.’ Negotiations are reportedly in their final stage.

Each episode is planned to be about one hour long and will coincide with the release of the second part of Cher’s memoir, following the publication of her first book in November 2024.
Cher has been negotiating with Netflix for several months, and the deal is said to be nearly finalized. The series will include seven episodes that will delve deeply into the ups and downs of her life.

The project’s budget is estimated at around £13 million (approximately $17 million), a source told The Sun.
The series aims to highlight the most dramatic and memorable moments of Cher’s life from her marriage to the late Sonny Bono, which she has described as far from perfect,
to her rapid rise in the 1960s as part of the iconic duo Sonny & Cher, and her later solo career that cemented her status as a pop culture icon.

The series may also touch on Cher’s personal life after her split from Sonny, including her marriage to rock musician Gregg Allman and her complex relationships with her sons, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman.
