Legendary Hollywood actor and former professional boxer Mickey Rourke has sparked concern among fans after being photographed by paparazzi during a walk in Los Angeles.
The 73-year-old actor appeared noticeably slimmer than in previous public appearances. Dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt, faded jeans, sunglasses, and accompanied by his small white dog, Rourke kept a low profile as he walked through the city. Recent photographs have prompted many fans to express concern about his health and well-being on social media.
The latest sighting comes months after reports of the actor’s housing dispute made headlines. In late 2025, Rourke was reportedly ordered to leave his Los Angeles rental property following a legal disagreement over approximately $59,100 in unpaid rent.
At the time, representatives for the actor told Daily Mail that Rourke had stopped paying rent because he believed the property’s living conditions had become unacceptable.
After news of his financial difficulties spread, supporters launched a GoFundMe campaign that reportedly raised nearly $100,000. However, Rourke declined the donation, describing the fundraising effort as something he did not feel comfortable accepting.
Despite his explanation, a Los Angeles court later ruled in favor of the property owner after Rourke did not respond to the eviction notice within the required legal timeframe. Court documents filed at the end of 2025 stated that he owed $59,100 in unpaid rent.
Mickey Rourke remains one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars, known for acclaimed performances in films such as Angel Heart, The Wrestler, and 9½ Weeks.
