Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has shown that he still has great respect for his former girlfriend Kim Kardashian, nearly four years after their highly publicized relationship ended.
During a recent episode of The Pete Davidson Show, the 32-year-old comedian spoke openly about Kardashian’s growing success in Hollywood and praised her determination, talent, and work ethic.
The conversation began when Davidson and guest comedian Nikki Glaser discussed Kim Kardashian’s acting career. Kardashian, who has expanded her influence beyond reality television through business ventures and entertainment projects, continues to take on new challenges in Hollywood.
“Isn’t it crazy how good Kim is at acting?” Davidson asked during the show. He recalled a moment when Kardashian told him she wanted to become an actress.
“I remember her saying, ‘I think I’m going to be an actress.’ And I said, ‘Yeah, you are.’ Then she went out and did it really well. She’s genuinely great at it,” Davidson shared.
Glaser, who stars alongside Kardashian in Netflix’s upcoming comedy The Fifth Wheel, agreed with his assessment.
“She’s amazing and incredibly smart,” Glaser said. “When Kim decides she wants to do something, she makes it happen. A lot of people expected her to fail because of public perception, but she exceeded all of my expectations.”
Davidson went on to describe Kardashian as “a superhuman,” praising her ability to stay focused despite intense media attention and public scrutiny.
He also revealed that Kardashian taught him an important lesson about handling criticism and headlines.
“I learned from her that no matter what’s happening or what people are saying, you’re still yourself. You just keep doing what you do,” he explained.
Davidson and Kardashian began dating in October 2021 after meeting when Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live. Their relationship quickly attracted widespread media attention and became one of Hollywood’s most talked-about romances.
The couple separated in August 2022 after about nine months together. Reports at the time suggested that their demanding schedules and frequent travel made it difficult to maintain the relationship.
Although their romance ended years ago, Davidson’s recent comments show that the two continue to have mutual respect and admiration for one another.
