The concert took place in Vienna, where Bulgaria was crowned the winner of the competition. The country was represented by DARA with the energetic song Bangaranga. The singer received a total of 516 points from both the jury and the public vote.
Israel finished in second place with 343 points, while Romania secured third place with 296 points.
A total of 25 countries competed for the coveted title. Tonight’s finalists included Denmark, Germany, Israel, Belgium, Albania, Greece, Ukraine, Australia, Serbia, Malta, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, the United Kingdom, France, Moldova, Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Cyprus, Italy, Norway, Romania, and Austria.
