The 70-year-old reality TV matriarch recently showcased her strikingly youthful face following a reported $100,000 cosmetic procedure. However, unflattering recent photos of her visibly aged hands have ignited speculation that Jenner may be considering an even more radical step: surgical hand rejuvenation.

Hands are notorious for revealing a person’s true age, largely because rejuvenating them through surgery is far more complex than facial procedures. According to experts, the so-called ‘hand lift,’ a procedure aimed at reducing wrinkles, folds, and sagging skin on the hands, carries significant and sometimes life-threatening risks.
‘The hand contains a dense network of critical nerves, tendons, and blood vessels,’ explained Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. John Diaz. ‘Any mistake can result in severe disability: permanent numbness of the fingers, inability to bend or move them, or in extreme cases, tissue death.’

Jenner was recently spotted in St. Barts without the gloves she had been wearing for months, revealing hands that sharply contrasted with her smooth, tightly toned face. The difference was striking: a flawless complexion paired with hands showing clear signs of aging.
A source close to the Jenner family told RadarOnline that Kris is actively researching surgical options. ‘She’s asking very detailed questions about possible rejuvenation procedures,’ the insider said.

Still, medical professionals urge caution, particularly for older patients. Hand surgery in later years carries heightened risks, including slow healing, infection, prolonged swelling, scarring, changes in skin sensation, and vascular complications.
‘Hand surgery is especially dangerous for elderly patients,’ warned dermatologist and surgeon Dr. Ariel Ostad.
Dr. Diaz added that hands reveal age for two main reasons: loss of volume, which makes tendons and veins more prominent, and skin changes that lead to pigmentation issues and age spots.
Jenner has reportedly gone to great lengths to conceal her hands at public events, including her lavish 70th birthday celebration, where she and Kim Kardashian wore long black opera gloves.

Experts emphasize that safer, non-surgical alternatives do exist. ‘I prefer restoring volume and improving skin quality,’ said Dr. Diaz. ‘This can be done using the patient’s own fat, injectable fillers, and CO₂ laser resurfacing to improve texture and pigmentation.’
The goal, specialists stress, is to rejuvenate the hands without risking their function, a delicate balance where beauty and biology must coexist.
