Would You Pay a Huge amount of Money for Taylor Swift’s Wedding Trash? Fans Did…

Taylor Swift fans have once again proven that almost anything connected to the global superstar can become a collectible.

Following the reported wedding celebration of Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce in New York, even trash collected near the venue found an unexpected second life.

The unusual idea came from New York artist Justin Gignac, who has spent years turning ordinary city litter into unique art pieces.

Dressed in a tuxedo, he collected discarded items left near the event location, including a used pregnancy test, a Ring Pop wrapper, a single AirPod, and other random street debris.

He sealed each item inside clear acrylic cubes and sold them under the name “Pocket Trash.” Smaller editions were priced at $25, while larger versions sold for $100. According to CBS News, every piece sold out in less than 24 hours.

Inspired by the overwhelming response, Gignac later expanded the collection to 89 editions, a tribute to Taylor Swift’s iconic 1989 album, Fast Company reported.

The frenzy didn’t stop there. Yahoo Finance reported that another seller even listed a bag supposedly containing “air from Taylor Swift’s wedding” for $50,000 online.

VICE quoted New Yorkers describing the trend as a classic example of the city’s ability to ‘make money out of almost anything.’

The story quickly spread across international media, highlighting the extraordinary influence of Taylor Swift’s fanbase.

Whether it’s music, merchandise, or even unusual memorabilia, anything associated with the singer can capture fans’ attention and spark global conversation.
